Founded by prima ballerina Ms. Robin Williams, the Uptown Dance Academy is dedicated to the study of ballet and
dance. This special, non-profit academy offers subsidized and scholarship tuition for underpriveleged students,
primarly from the Harlem & upper Manhattan neighborhoods, and rigorous ballet and theatrical dance training.
Famous for its "Black Nutcracker" performances, combining Tchaikovsky's & Ellington's "Nutcracker" scores
with traditional andcontemporary African music, the Uptown Dance Academy continues to amaze. For more
